On Friday, Matti was asked who he thinks is the best actress to play Darna.
"Hindi ako makapili. Pero alam naman natin mula noon na si Angel (Locsin) yan," said Matti.
However, he said people should just wait for the official announcement. He also noted that he and the crew have been preparing for the film and all that they were waiting was the go signal.
"Marami na kaming napi-prepare. We are just waiting to start the movie. Mahaba ang preparation," Matti noted.
When asked if he felt the clamor of the people about Locsin playing the role, he said, his Instagram was bombarded by people who wanted her to be Darna.
